This is a sixteen hour program presented in two eight hour days. The course
is a national program designed by the Emergency Nurses Association and teaches
the basic understanding of Emergency pediatric trauma nursing. The newest
edition book is included in the price. This course is designed to be interactive
with the participants. The course offers 15.6 CEU when completed. In order to
enroll in the course the ENA request that the participants have the book a
minimum of 30 days prior to the course.
This course will focus on teaching standardization of pediatric trauma nursing
knowledge that will enable you to apply a systematic approach to achieve optimal
care of a pediatric trauma patient whether you are in a lone environment or work
with a team approach. The cost of the course includes the book and the Emergency
Nurses Association standard fees. Lunch will be on your own.
